Building Renovations Ltd is a locally owned and managed company with local directors and principles.

The management team has grown in experience and ability with the company now employing recognised construction managers with proven track records in business and project delivery allowing the company to offer a greater selection of services to our clients.

To compliment the recognised specialist services provided by the company new services such as construction, project management and shop fitting have been added with great success.

The company currently employs over 40 full time locally qualified members of staff.

Paul Richardson, our Managing Director, has worked within the local construction and facilities management industries for over 33 years and has 16 years senior management experience at Director level in both these sectors.
Andy Hunter
Andy HunterDirector
Andy Hunter, our other local Director, principally manages the development interests of our parent company, The Havard Group, and chairs the water purification operations of John Swire and Sons Ltd, based in North America.
Josh Richardson
Josh RichardsonDirector
Josh joined in February 2019 and manages numerous projects across our group businesses. In addition to this, he also manages the Group’s digital strategy and supports the management team with growth of the Group companies.
Stuart Thomson

Contracts Management responsibilities are undertaken by Stuart Thomson who is a time served carpenter and construction manager with 33 years experience within the local construction industry.
Charles Gales
Charles GalesContracts Manager
Charles joined Building Renovations Ltd in 2022 and has a wealth of management
and delivery experience within the local construction industry.

Charles currently has responsibility for the onsite delivery of numerous
residential and commercial projects.

Richard Dunleavy
Richard DunleavySenior Site Manager
Our Site Manager is Richard Dunleavy with over 35 years experience in the construction industry. He is responsible for the day to day management and quality control on all of our projects.
Ryan Doherty
Ryan DohertyQuantity Surveyor
Ryan joined the team in July 2020 and is responsible for numerous areas including the preparation, liaising and maintenance of our subcontractor base, valuation assessments, pricing projects and risk assessments. Ryan completed his HNC in Quantity Surveying and Civil Engineering at the City of Glasgow College.
Kris Green
Kris GreenAccounts Manager
Our accounts manager, Kris, joined the group in March 2021, and has over 20 years of accounts experience. Kris is always on hand to answer any questions our subcontractors and suppliers have.
Allison Harrison
Allison HarrisonOffice Manager
Our Office Manager, Ali, who has worked for us since May 2003, is the first person you’ll see when you come to our offices on Great Union Road. Ali has a keen eye for detail and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the office.
